SAYFTEE is hiring full-time, independently licensed clinicians

SAYFTEE, a queer-owned group private practice in Brookline, is a growing, fun, dynamic, and team-oriented group of clinicians. We value working collaboratively and helping improve the health and wellness of our communities. We are looking for full time Mental Health Clinician(s) who will provide individual therapy with adults and/or children and adolescents within a group practice team. The Mental Health Clinician(s) will provide outpatient therapy to clients of SAYFTEE, LLC both remotely and in our on-site location in Brookline.

Compensation is a flat fee rate based on income received. We welcome therapists with a niche(s) (trauma, disordered eating, IFS, EMDR, children, adolescents and families, etc.).  SAYFTEE provides a steady stream of referrals. Candidates must be independent, driven, creative, collaborative, and enhance our committed, connected, and positive minded group of clinicians. As a team, we strive to have a group of clinicians that reflects our communities and client populations. Clinicians who identify as BIPOC, transgender, nonbinary and/or queer are particularly encouraged to apply to join our team. Candidate will be employee status (W-2).  

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling, social work, psychology or marriage and family therapy

• An active, unrestricted license (Ph.D., LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, etc) in the State of Massachusetts.

• Available to meet at least 25 client sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by SAYFTEE, LLC

• Strong case conceptualization skills

• Ability to build rapport and establish a strong therapeutic working relationship with clients

• Experience providing evaluation and evidence based psychotherapy with a broad spectrum of clinical presentations

Hours

Work hours and schedule may vary depending on client and SAYFTEE, LLC needs. Hours include some nights and/or weekends. Clinician(s) are not guaranteed a minimum number of clients or sessions per week. However, it is expected that Clinician(s) will be available to meet at least 25+ client sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by SAYFTEE, LLC. Clinician(s) may work a hybrid schedule that includes providing telehealth from a home office as well as working in our Brookline office.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site or virtual counseling services to clients of SAYFTEE, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies. 

  • Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.

  • Respond to clients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, or voicemail.  Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such clients. 

  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by SAYFTEE, LLC

  • Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of SAYFTEE, LLC.  

  • Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers

  • Other duties which may be assigned by SAYFTEE, LLC

  • Communicate with a client’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary

  • Complete written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contact notes, and other forms or documents in a timely fashion

  • Maintain licensure and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for SAYFTEE, LLC
