About Our Onboarding Process
Onboarding for Individual Therapy
Submit our Contact Us form.
Our admin will reach out to schedule a phone screening between the client, or parent/caregiver, and our clinical director, Helen Staab, LICSW (she/her) to find out if SAYFTEE is the right fit for you/the client.
If both you and Helen agree that SAYFTEE is the right fit, she will match you with clinicians that would be the best fit for you/the client. Our admin will follow-up & send you bios for the clinician(s) that you/the client were matched with, and ask you to let us know which clinician(s) you would like to work with. Finally, we will schedule an intake if your availability lines up with the clinicians openings, or we will add you to their waitlist.
If either, or both of you decide that SAYFTEE isn’t a great fit for your current needs, our admin will follow up with any recommended practices or therapists that may be a better fit for you/the client.
FAQs
Q: I’m interested in enrolling my child in services at SAYFTEE. Should they be present for the phone screening?
A: Nope! This phone screening will just be between our clinicial director and the parent/caregiver.
Q: If it turns out that SAYFTEE isn’t the right fit for me at this time, what happens next?
A: Our admin will follow-up with recommendations for other practices that may be a better fit for you. If we don’t have recommendations for you, we can find some for you if you are open to that.
Q: Is the phone screening the same thing as an intake appointment?
A: Nope! The intake appointment will be between the client and the matched clinician. Intakes are 50 minutes long, take place in-person or via telehealth, and are billed through insurance. The phone screening is a free 15-minute phone call between the client (if 18+) or the parent/caregiver (if client is under 18).
