LGBTQ+ Resilience Group

Middle & High School groups

Resilience is the capacity to recover quickly from adversities. In this 10-week group, we will explore and deepen personal and community resilience in the context of LGBTQ identities.

A Reflective Parenting Journey:

This 8-session group was created for parents and caregivers navigating the journey of having a child who has recently come out as transgender and/or non-binary.

In this 10-week group, members will explore the joys and intricacies of relationships - whether it be relationships with self, friends, family, or romantic partners.

FAQs

    1. You submit our inquiry form.

    2. Our admin will be in touch (usually within a few days) to schedule a 15-minute phone screening between you and Melissa to see if the group is the right fit for you/your kiddo. 

    3. If it's a good fit, we will send you 2 emails containing intake paperwork - one through a client portal, and another through our secure Hushmail account.  Once you submit ALL paperwork, our admin will check your insurance benefits with us, and the clinician running the group will reach out to schedule an intake appointment with you.  Once all intakes for the group are complete, the group can start.

  • SAYFTEE accepts most commercial insurances.  If you are not planning on using insurance, the out-of-pocket cost for groups is $50 per session, plus the cost of the intake appointment.  

  • In most cases, we open enrollment for groups six months before the start date. While we aim to fill each group within that time, various factors may occasionally require a slight delay of a week or two. If you’d like an update on a specific group’s status, feel free to reach out to our marketing & administrative coordinator.
