How can we understand and help others—as well as ourselves—with attachment needs outside a mono-normative frame? Join Aida Manduley, LCSW for a discussion of the recently released “Polysecure” and a nuanced exploration of non-monogamy and attachment that also brings in other voices and resources. To our collective detriment, much of this field and literature centers Eurocentric perspectives, but never fear—we aim to explicitly disrupt that at this event.

In this interactive workshop/discussion we will unpack some of our biases about relationship-building and therapeutic practice, learn new tools to help all partnerships (non-monogamous or not) better map their relational desires, and challenge the ways our own relationships may be caught in attachment-traps and subsequently influencing our work.

Whether you're a long-standing non-monogamous clinician or someone as green as grass to all these conversations and just curious about the book, you'll leave with new knowledge and resources. Come with your questions, nuggets, and struggles and let's get into the messy work of human connection!
